This week we caught up with equestrian enthusiast, Monique Le Breuilly who very much enjoyed attending the Quorn Hunt Ladies Day last week.

I'm sure that anyone who uses social media will have seen what a successful day it was for everyone involved.

“Wednesday 2nd March will certainly be a day to remember for me. Joining a field consisting of over 200 like minded, adrenaline seeking ladies who were all so immaculately turned out was just thrilling.

Unfortunately my regular horse was off due to injury so I was forced to hunt my rising 6yr old 14.1hh pony. Never did I imagine I would be crossing historical Quorn country on a pony, however we showed the horses exactly how it was done. We even jumped one of the hedges from the famous Melton hunt ride!

A champagne breakfast with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, hedge hopping galore, gate jumping for fun, followed by afternoon tea and more champagne. It was my idea of heaven.

The wet weather didn’t put anyone off either. The fields were waterlogged and anyone who hunts a pony will know the mud is much worse when you are closer to the ground! Thank goodness I wore my Ri-Dry Breeches, not only did they keep me dry but also looked super smart as, after all, we were being judged on our turnout. The deep zipped front pockets were perfect to keep my phone dry and safe, essential for quick photo opportunities.

Any ladies looking for a thrilling day out must attend the Quorn Ladies day. Thank you to the Quorn, to my awesome pocket rocket pony Black Bettie, and a huge thank you Ri-Dry for creating the best breeches for keeping me smart and dry.”

We love hearing from our Ri-Dry customers - if you would like to feature in one of our regular blogs, or on our social media pages please send reviews/stories/photos to sales@ri-dryclothing.co.uk
